Amos Slater, owner of Charlotte Marine, grew up in his father’s motorcoach repair shop. He ran and maintained his own fleet of coaches for several years before opening Charlotte RV, his full service RV dealership in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Knowing that service was key to making the business work, he hand-picked and trained a staff of technicians to serve his loyal customers. After his outstanding success with Charlotte RV Center, Amos realized that his crew of trained technicians was also well qualified to maintain and repair recreational boats.

Charlotte Marine was born, following the same high standards of service as the RV Center, which is still running strong after over a dozen years in business. Amos has now realized his life-long dream to operate a full service recreational dealership in Southwest Florida.
